Review
While I couldn’t find Porter and Chester Institute reviews on Grad Reports, I was able to find multiple sites talking about student feedback concerning this school. One site lists job placement assistance as the main problem that is most often identified by former students.
I see one review from a student who says that the school ruined his or her life. The student is going off in all caps and says that the school needs to be shut down. That is definitely not a glowing review, but let’s get a more balanced picture of what is happening at Porter and Chester Institute.
There is only one review on Yelp, but it is quite a lengthy review for sure. The person gave the school a one star rating, but the student did mention that he did like the instructor. What’s really interesting is that this person graduated in 1997! That was before I graduated high school, so that means this is one old review for sure.
The student mentions a job placement promise that was never brought to fruition, and he also says that he wasn’t allowed to visit the campus and continue to brush up on his skills as promised either. It was like the school was trying to keep him away, he says anyway. I’m going to look up for current information about this school. By the way, he was in a degree program for architectural drafting.
The more current employee reviews for Porter and Chester Institute don’t look too great. Some of them have nice things to say in the pros and cons sections, but overall, the school is not recommended by most of the former employees. That does say quite a bit about the school if you ask me.
