In order to become a PTA in Hawaii you must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. An accredited PTA Program has been approved by CAPTE for both the quality of the course and the quality of the examinations and graduates produced.
Once you have graduated from an accredited program it is required by Hawaii law that you obtain a license to work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State.
