If you require more flexibility with your studies and the option to study on evenings or at the weekends then you could consider an online program. However it is worth advising that the majority of time spent studying to become a PTA is actually spent in clinical work practice and not in a classroom environment. So whilst you might be able to complete the academic element of your studies with some flexibility you will still need to present for workplace experience.
As such there are no 100% online or distance learning courses available to become a PTA.
The role and responsibilities of a physical therapist assistant will vary dependent upon their work place.
